Please refer to our Breed Size Classification Policy to help determine which size category your dog falls into when booking. Breed lists are a guide only, as dogs can vary in size, coat type and grooming requirements. If you're unsure which category to select, please contact us and we'll be happy to help.
We are committed to treating every pet with kindness, patience and respect. Our Animal Welfare & Handling Policy ensures that all pets are handled humanely, monitored throughout their groom and prioritised at every stage of the grooming process.
Your pet’s safety is our priority. Our Veterinary Emergency & Incident Procedure outlines the steps we take if a pet becomes unwell, is injured or requires urgent veterinary attention while in our care.
Wags’n’Whiskers is committed to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for staff, students, clients and animals. We follow safe working practices, maintain equipment, assess risks and ensure appropriate training and supervision. Everyone must follow salon procedures, handle animals humanely, report hazards and record accidents or incidents promptly.
In an emergency, all staff, students and visitors must evacuate the salon immediately using the nearest safe exit. Animals should be secured and evacuated where safe, but human safety must always come first. Everyone must gather at the designated assembly point at Kingsteignton Car Park and remain there until authorised to return.
